The Process

The process of learning the Alexander Technique begins by making a decision to find real solutions to your problems.

Understanding what happens in a lesson opens up possibilities to explore particular movements in you daily life that you find difficult to perform or that cause you pain or discomfort. Through the course of lessons you will learn how to let go of chronic patterns of tension and regain balance, coordination and calmness.

A course of 10 lessons will give you many insights into how your habits may be affecting your function as well as a better understanding of the cause of persistent pains.

A course of 24 lessons has been scientifically shown to give long-term relief from low back pain.

The Technique can also be beneficial in many other chronic pain situations.
